There is also work done by Lord Raleigh (John Strut) back in the 1920's on the wierd energy properties of diatomic molecules. It appears the surplus energy effect occurs not only in hydrogen, but oxygen and nitrogen also. Nitrogen is the winner in the energy output category, with almost 3 times the energy density of hydrogen.

Naudins' work just confirms what was known but not explained when it was discovered. We don't know all there is to know about simple diatomic oscillators. More repeats of these types of experiments should be done to reconfirm the startling data.

I've gone over Raleighs' protocols and calculations and they are airtight, the problem occurs when one tries to explain the results in terms of conventional theories. Langmuir came up with the same results.

Analysis would indicate that the overunity mechanism is at the site of the metal-gas interface, and not with the disassociation of the diatomic gas into a monoatomic state and its recombination.

One hypothesis on the overunity mechanism has to do with the interaction of the absorbed monoatomic gas on the surface of a metal. The gas may pick up some of the nodal zero point fluxuations that occur on the surface of a conductor, and then tranfer that momentum back into the recombination of the diatomic state.

ElectroDynaCat & nanotech actually appear to believe that ZPE can be tapped. The last few seconds of this video clip, ZPE is being released in micropulses, ending with thermal runaway. http://hometown.aol.com/hypercom59/dlc.mpg

From Sterling D. Allan: Also, have your seen our coverage of the Naudin breakthrough?:

http://pesn.com/2005/06/26/9600116_Naudin_MAHG/

Our story was composed with the input/authorship of 6 people, including Naudin. It is one of the best stories we've composed. We put a lot of time into it over three days...

We summarize the entire scenario and compile the multiple pages of this development report at his site.

Sterling
