PES and OSEN Split
Posted on Thursday, December 29, 2005 @ 19:36:48 UTC by vlad

General Two alternative energy technology promotion companies decide to go their separate ways, as friends in the cause.

VANCOUVER, B.C., CANADA -- After several months of collaboration, PES Network Inc. and OSEN (Open Source Energy Network) called it quits Wednesday.

Wishing each other well, they decided it would be best if they worked separately.

PES Network will continue providing daily clean energy technology news from around the world through FreeEnergyNews.com along with its original and feature stories at PESN.com. It's directory pages at FreeEnergyNews.com and PESWiki.com will continue, as will its open source projects.

Likewise, OSEN will be continuing its similar offerings, as commenced at its public launch on Oct. 22, 2005.

The daily "Today in Free Energy" broadcast is the primary offspring to come of the brief association, and will be continued at OSEN, which has become expert at hosting the program.

PES Network founder, Sterling D. Allan, did not think the monthly stipend being provided matched the level of work being done, and said that the amount needed to increase for a merger to be viable. Otherwise, a separate existence needed to be pursued in order to ensure a continued, sustainable income for PES Network.

Jon Peters, the primary financier for OSEN, replied that their budget could not accommodate an increase.

Some points of tension had arisen at various times during the association, as is expected in any such attempt for people of diverse backgrounds to work together. These issues had been resolved to a large extent.

A continued, amenable relationship is expected.
