Governor's Special Assistant for Energy & Environmental Technologies Recently Added to List of Speakers for February 10-11 Summit Hosted by UC Santa Barbara's Technology Management Program
UC Santa Barbara's Technology Management Program today announced
details for its upcoming Concept to Commerce: Emerging Energy
Technologies Summit, to be held on campus February 10 and 11. The
two-day event will bring together renowned scholars, business leaders,
financiers, engineers, and policy makers to discuss the development and
creation of profitable and practical energy technology solutions that
meet the market's evolving energy demands.
Summit attendees will have the opportunity to interact with Terry
Tamminen, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's Special Assistant
for Energy & Environmental Technologies, and other business leaders
and investors who are experts in the field of energy technologies.
Tamminen, who previously served as the Governor's Cabinet Secretary and
Secretary of CalEPA, works to shape policy that balances conservation
and environmental protection with economic benefit. Tamminen has
extensive background in environmental policy and is an active proponent
of clean and renewable energies.
