Far Out--Conference Looks at Far Term Propulsion
Posted on Thursday, January 30, 2003 @ 23:57:48 GMT by vlad

General matt writes: The Space Technology and Applications International Forum (STAIF 2003) features sessions on far-term concepts in propulsion that may be of interest to new energy researchers.

The Space Technology and Applications International Forum (STAIF 2003) will be held Feb 2 through 5 in Albuquerque, NM, which features sessions on far-term concepts in propulsion, may contain some areas of interest for new energy researchers. Presentations will include an update on electromagnetic basis for inertia, graviation, the principle of equivalence, spin and particle mass ratios. Quantum vehicle propulsion, gravity shielding and very large propulsion effects will also be the subject of sessions. The presenters will come from academic and professional backgrounds and will include some of the most well-respected names in cutting edge science and propulsion engineering. Proceedings from STAIF 2003 will be published in American Institute of Physics. The theme of the conference is "Expanding the Frontiers of Space."
