July 30, 2010 / Issue
#35
The core of this issue is the special report "Cold Fusion Is
Neither." The report extensively reviews technical aspects of low-energy nuclear
reactions.
Readers who are less interested in the technical details may
wish to jump directly to the second-to-last article, "Two Decades of 'Cold
Fusion.'”
Update to NET Issue 35: Aug 6, 2010
The printer-friendly
PDF versions of New Energy Times Issue 35 and the New Energy Times special
report "Cold Fusion Is Neither" are now available. We have created two separate
files.
A few modifications of note:
1. For the convenience of off-line readers, we have
included in the PDF the transcript of NPR's “Science Friday” interview with
Michael McKubre.
2. We have made a correction (in both the Web and the PDF
versions) to "Storms Introduces Theory of Cold Fusion at Rome Conference." In
the original story, we said that Edmund Storms issued a press release about his
theory. We have corrected the story to read that a press release about his
theory published. We made this change because Storms denied any involvement in
the Oct. 5, 2009, announcement of his Oct. 9, 2009, talk in Rome.
3. In the special report, "Cold Fusion Is Neither," we
have added an outline to provide readers with a quick way to learn about the
content of each article.
The articles in the special report are sequentially
structured and interconnected; they build on and reference one other. Readers
will benefit by reading them in sequence.
