Daniel Dingel and his water car
Posted on Wednesday, May 26, 2004 @ 21:33:44 UTC by vlad

Testimonials Stefan Hartmann writes: Hi All,
Benoît LOCHER has visited Daniel Dingel and his watercar in the last few days and he said, that Dingel started his car without first powering up his electrolysis and thus runs his car mainly from the normal gas tank and the oxyhydrogen only helps to boost performance. Also he could smell gasoline from the exhaust !

Here is a first report:

All the inventions I have seen in his home were nothing special
really...except maybe the water/gazoline separator (some sort of
filter). Another significant thing was his so-called "perpetual motion
engine"....this was written on it but it was not running ! And like
his inverter to power a 220 volts light bulb, a switching inverter not
using a transformer. Nothing serious really, sorry if I hurt someone
by saying this.

The engine was hard starting from the classical electrical starter
motor. Nobody except D. Dingel was inside the car when he started it.
6 eyes were looking under the hood and could notice the reactor was
not producing hydrogen/oxygen after the car was started, it came
later...

It was still the same car (UGA 222) with lots of switches & light
bulbs inside (the Filipino way I would say...) The reactor was a 4th
model however compared to the one that can see on internet. I'll put
pictures of it when I return.

Maybe they had cought colds ;) Seriously, this makes me think of
another invention of D. Dingel an incinerator bubling its smoke into a
water container to remove the smoke / odour partially. Under the car,
I could see a big electric fan hooked inline with the right exhaust
pipe, see picture in

(beware: it is two
lowercase o's in 2oo5, and not two zeroes).

Furthermore, I had read on internet already someone smelled gazoline:

Benoit.

An ordinary tank of hydrogen, could in theory power an automobile for about 20 miles. If the energy to split the hydrogen was made from solar , wind, or other renewables, you've jumped out of non renewable hole we've dug ourselves.
Another configeration could be to burn the hydrogen along with regular petro fuel with the idea being that it could greatly increase the gas mileage a car gets.

MANILA, Philippines—Daniel Dingel, 82-year-old inventor of a “water-powered car,” has been convicted of “estafa” [swindling] and sentenced to a maximum of 20 years imprisonment by the Parañaque City Regional Trial Court.

The court also ordered him to pay $380,000 in actual damages.

Dingel, who has never revealed the secret to his invention, which he began in 1969, questioned the verdict but said he did not mind going to jail at his age. As of late Friday, he remained at large...
