Let's say I ask you to give me $10 with the promise that I'm going to give you a 100% return on your investment. You agree and hand me $10. I then so "Okay, now it's time for you to make your money" and you hand me $1 and I hand you back $2. You think this is a great deal and hand me $1 again. I again hand you back $2. How long can I do that for? Well, it depends on what you mean by "how long" ;-) but the short answer is that if you give me another $8 and I hand you back $16, I'm all done. But look at the actual math -- you've given me $20 and I've given you back $20. Unless I keep some of it ... The flaw, as others have hinted at, is that they are claiming that the 40 or 50 watts they are putting in to generate 300 watts or so is the answer to "how much does it take to generate 300 watts?" But it isn't -- the actual energy is much closer to 1700 watts or so to get 300 out. Which is not exactly a good deal. Frankly, it's a sucky deal. I'm all for free energy ideas because I think there is "free energy" to be had. If someone can just figure a way to extract the energy we know is running around in the Van Allen belts and elsewhere we'd never need to burn another drop of oil. But no one has managed to do that just yet. | Parent
