Just slightly over unity is also suspicious in that it could be due to measurement error. Why oh why do folks continue with these statements and "proof" of excess heat etc. Here's a simple test for any over unity device:

1. Take 1 fully charged battery to power the "device".
2. Take 10 fully discharged batteries of the same capacity as the charged battery (NB same size , shape, colour, make etc i.e. 3 batteries from the same production line !)
3. Wire everything up and show that the device charges the 10 flat batteries.
4. You are allowed switch batteries as many times as you like!

Time is not a factor as long as you end up with 10 charged batteries.

Maybe its time for the free energy community to dismiss all claims of over unity unless it can pass or claim to pass an unambiguous test. Preferably a practical test that proves its use "in the home", as described above. All these "excess heat" claims and "slight over unity" claims are all literally ignored. The inventors then have to go back to the drawing board and create a practical device instead of an anamolous one.

So how about it folks at zpenergy.com, we define an unambiguous test and only provide news space to those inventors who can claim to pass that test?

The components are inherently cost effective, being commonly available magnetic materials and electronic parts. MPI is a licensing firm, therefore prices will be set by licensees, Although initially they may be higher, our target suggestion is $2,000/kW. Eventually, the price in mass production is likely to fall as generators in very large fabrication quantities become commodities. Since these units will function 24/7, electricty produced will be less expensive than solar or wind. Probably dropping to less than a penny per kW-hr.

While "slightly over unity" may not be enough to revolutionize energy production, it may be enough to revolutionize thinking. Right now, mainstream
science still considers free energy science-fiction. Something that we may have centuries from now, if at all. Often, mainstream physicists such as the spokesman of the APS dismiss free energy claims by appealing to the law of conservation of energy without even looking at the actual device. Look at the mainstream debate on the energy crisis. Free energy isn't even mentioned. The environmental groups ignore it completely. The political parties
ignore it. The media - mainstream, progressive and conservative - are united in ignoring it.

If Mr. Goldes succeeds in mass producing even a toy which produces minimal power, but in perpetuity, the consequences would be enormous. People could buy it and show it to their congressmen, the media, the engineers and physicists at their local university, and to the environmental group. Once a breakthrough in mass awareness is achieved, the public would demand a Manhattan program to develop practical, high-performance free energy devices. Even if the politicians didn't listen, private investors would pour billions into the field. The only reason they don't do now is because they consider free energy science-fiction.
