Dear Dave, The Aether Physics Model as linked in the previous message does quantify the Aether as both an inertial and electric driver.  Actually, there are three primordial states as far as physical existence goes; dark matter, Gforce, and the singularity.  The Gforce (source of inertia) splits the singularity, thus producing two types of charges (electrostatic and electromagnetic charges).  The Gforce acting upon these charges produces quantum units of Aether.  The Aether then absorbs dark matter to make it become visible matter (subatomic particles).  The force of gravity is caused by the Gforce acting upon the dimension of mass, electrostatic force is caused by the Gforce acting upon electrostatic charge, and the strong force is caused by Gforce acting upon the electromagnetic charge.  The so-called "weak interaction" is the proportion of electrostatic force to strong force as the different charge geometries vie for dominance.  Therefore, as is properly quantified in the Aether Physics Model, all the forces are properly unified with simple algebraic Newtonian type expressions. The key to understanding the exact nature of Aether is in understanding reciprocal dimensions.  Just as frequency is the reciprocal of time, yet represents a different, but related phenomenon, mass and charge also have reciprocal manifestations.  Aether is non-material because its dimensions of mass and electrostatic charge are reciprocal dimensions.  Our paper, A New Foundation for Physics, explains this in sufficient detail to give a general understanding of the concepts involved.  Bernoulli's whirlpools are the Aether units I just described.  They have both inertial and electric properties.  In addition to having inertial and electric properties, the Aether also exists in more dimensions than physical matter does.  Physical matter exists in four-dimensional space-time, yet the Aether exists in five-dimensional space-resonance.  The half-spin nature of physical matter exists due to the inability of matter to move in the backward time direction.  All of this is properly quantified in the Aether Physics Model.
