Energy from the Vacuum sets out to explore a new and as yet untapped source of electrical power. Scientists have for many years wrestled with the issue of where electricity comes from. Only in recent times have the advances in physics and electrical engineering, combined with earlier research by luminaries such as Tesla and Maxwell, evolved to the point where viable concepts are beginning to explain the nature of electricity -- and thus the possibility for its extraction from the empty vacuum of space.
Energy from the Vacuum is based primarily around the work of Lt. Col. Tom Bearden (retd.). Col. Bearden has a long history of research and involvement with experimental electrical devices. His work is unparalleled in its comprehensive scope of leading edge technology in electrical power generation going all the way back to the mid 19th century. In his lifetime, Tom has personally observed and participated in the development and construction of a number of working devices that have demonstrated the extraction of energy from the vacuum. Tom's self-appointed task has been to devise a means of describing the phenomena these machines appear to exhibit in understandable, mainstream, scientific terms. Energy from the Vacuum will attempt to portray the extensive and intricate background of Tom's research up to and including his current theories on how electrical power can be derived from the vacuum. The film will be based largely upon his book of the same title, "Energy from the Vacuum."
