The Association for the Study of Peak Oil (ASPO) is a network of scientists, affiliated with European institutions and universities, "having an interest in determining the date and impact of the peak and decline of the world’s production of oil and gas, due to resource constraints."

According to their recently released world oil production graph (based on known and new oil fields), production beyond 2010 is all the way down. See the graph and some very interesting analyses and articles (i.e. "Will humanity be left home alone?" by John Gray, professor of European Thought at the London School of Economics) in their latest newsletter at: http://www.energiekrise.de/e/news/aspo/Newsletter022.pdf
