Anti-gravity is attracting the attention of some mainstream researchers. One researcher with excellent credentials believes that gravity control technology can be mastered and can change the world for the better.

Not all mainstream scientists are repelled by anti-gravity. The May 2003 issue of The Participant, a quarterly news magazine of TIAA-CREF, features an article on Ning Li, a physicist who has worked for NASA. Dr. Li believes that gravity control is real and its exploitation will be no less than revolutionary. According to the article, the 1992 accidental discovery of gravity shielding by Russian researcher Dr. Podkletnov was actually predicted in a peer review paper that Dr. Li published in the early 1990s. In the article, Dr. Li said, "Gravity control is real. We know the principles behind it, and we know, according to my calculations, how it works from a theoretical point of view. But it’s not easy research to do. For practical applications, we need to develop new technologies and do much more fundamental research. This will be the hard part." She also said she hopes that by developing the technology she will help the world. The benefits of the technology include near effortless space travel and the end of reliance on oil and other fuels. Dr. Li received two degrees from Peking University and a doctorate degree in physics from Renesselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. She also received a master’s degree in computer science. She did work at the University of Alabama at Huntsville and NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. I was unable to find an Internet link for the story.
