Date: Friday, August 01, 2003 @ 23:22:32 UTC Topic: General
Roger Billings, a pioneer in the use of hydrogen to supply energy to the masses, announced the re-formation of Billings Energy Corporation.
According to a news release on the company website, Billings formed the company in 1973 and sold it in 1984 after determining the market wasn’t quite ready for the hydrogen economy.
Billings apparently thinks that has changed.
He has again resumed work on incorporating renewable, clean, hydrogen energy into practical, everyday life the widespread use.
The news release states that, “Now, with the $1.2 billion hydrogen fuel cell development plan of President Bush in America, and the 5 billion Euro hydrogen development plan recently announcement by the European community, the time has come to make this aspiration a reality.”
