ZPE is NOT FE

i'm new to this web-site and found a lot of interesting information here. i have been (actively) involved in Zero Point Energy research since 1996, long before it became a buzz-word together with "free energy".

although a lot of the articles seem to suggest that the two are somehow one and the same, i have to vehemently disagree.
ZPE is not for free
so far, research seems to suggest that ZPE is abundantly distributed in "empty" space but to tap into it, we still have to invest (a considerable amount of) energy.
what we're looking for is a ratio where the output is far greater than the input.

the phrase "free energy" has quickly turned into a stigma and the response you get from people who don't understand the dynamics of ZPE is usually quite negative.
i take great care to avoid the word free in any discussion about ZPE as it is many things, but not free ...
