Submitted by Anthony Fresco: Here is a method of very simply and inexpensively performing nuclear fusion, which I actually first mentioned in my 2018-09-30 ZPEnergy article which indicates my mention of this at the SPESIF-2012 Conference at the University of Maryland from which my paper "Dielectric Analysis for Torque of a Solute Ion Coulomb Force Monopole Motor" was published.

Controlled nuclear fusion for producing energy for civilian applications has been long awaited since the 1950s. For technical reasons, current approaches are based only on Deuterium-Tritium reaction which produces 17.6 MeV.
The above is based on the 2020 website (Solute Ion Linear Alignment Heavy Ion Beam Cancer Therapy and Covid-19 Sterilization)
and the 2021 website (Solute ION Linear Alignment (SILA) Particle Accelerator for AI and Bitcoin Energy Requirements, Rare Earth Production et al) also illustrates endothermic nuclear fusion, which currently has extremely low probability of ever being commercialized using conventional approaches.
Solute ion linear alignment (SILA) generates energy from repulsion forces between like-charged ions that are accumulated in the capacitive deionization process (CDI). Repulsion forces are based on Coulomb's Law and the electrostatic fields that are continuously radiating from the ions. The Electric Force Example and the Light Bulbs provide a very dramatic illustration.
Dear Vlad,
It is not cold fusion but is intended to be "conventional" inertial confinement fusion using 4 H+ ion beams that intersect at whatever velocity is required since the accelerations given by a=F/m are enormous, e.g., a= 10E-3 Newtons/(10E-25 kg)= 10E=22 m/sec^2.
Given the disaster of climate change, we need to act now. There is more I can say about that but I will hold off for now.
... I think the only chance I have to move forward with this is through private sectors companies on the bill paying end of energy and power, so I have almost four proposals pending with Nine Sigma right now.
My best regards,
Anthony Fresco
