The new 2004 Chevrolet advertising tagline logo "An American Revolution" has a similar "three-

Is this too much of a reach...or...a subtle message to the world...a message that does not violate the GWE non-disclosure agreement?

Expect the GWE PR to get more wacky as they miss deadlines that they had set for themselves. They still say that they went into production on August 19, which makes no sense, since they have no customers and no revenue. Other deadlines, they are changing as they miss them.
Rasta - You ask why I don't update the website. It might be worthwile to document them changing deadlines in advance of them missing them, and I plan to write about that. But you are right that I haven't updated the site since summer. Partially, it's that the need's less pressing now than it was a year ago; the stock sales stopped last spring. But mostly, it's that I decided to stop publishing what the investors tell me. Back last winter and spring, I published a lot of information I got from the investors. But I started to worry that different investors were getting different stories, and I didn't want to out the leakers by reporting what they told me. The worst thing I could do is out someone who would be much more valuable leaking to NJ than they ever could leaking to me. When the NJ investigation started in the summer, I just stopped developing the investors as a source for the website. NJ is getting a lot more information than I ever could about the investment side of the story, and there is no point to me trying to help out there when NJ is doing the heavy lifting. I would love to understand the story better and to explain more of what I know, but it's really the investor's story, not mine, and NJ is going to help them more than I can.
I do finally have a solid line on Kelly that's not at all GWE related, so I hope to get some information there I can report. There is no risk of outing leakers, since the source (presumably) isn't involved in GWE. So no delicacy is required. |

My whole reason for jumping into this discussion was to correct your mis-statement at the beginning of this thread.
You said: "The problem with GWE demonstrating the Hammacher device for investors is that they were led to believe that it was a GWE device"
This is a plain mis-statement of the truth. GWE did not demonstrate the Hammacher device, they demonstrated a proof-of-concept model that supposedly LOOKED LIKE the Hammacher device. This is clearly pointed out (again) by another poster to this thread who went back and re-read the article in question.
On one hand, I can understand your eagerness to discuss your reported trail of bummed investors and state Attorneys General as evidence of a GWE scam. Let me offer another view.
I've been hanging out in Vlad's virtual backyard here for about a year now, and I have watched you mis-report the facts in the same way I point out above many times...bending the truth to influence others to see your point of view. Given your surety of GWE's "scamability" is that really necessary? As I've said before, it really does nothing to help your case.
You know, I would probably be eager to get into such a discussion of GWE scam/investor theories with someone who is open minded and willing to look at more than their own ideas and opinions...but you are not that person.
From the beginning, you have adopted the philosophy of "Shoot first...then shoot again" towards GWE. That's OK by me, and it seems like you are having some success convincing others with your subtle bending of the truth.
But it's just because of this well-documented
"virtual vigalante" posture you have taken against GWE that I consider having a deeper discussion with you about GWE "issues" irrelevant.
Why would I waste people's time and Vlad's bandwidth on such a hopeless cause? While I attempt to stay open to your point of view, the possibility of GWE being a scam, I have yet to see any evidence that you are open to anything but your own opinions.
I am quite content to keep my mind open about this subject while quietly waiting for the eventual outcome. I will continue to read your posts and to honestly consider what you have to say, but I will not enter into a discussion with you nor will I give any creedence to your close-minded way of thinking.
And if GWE is eventually proven to be a clever scam as you have so persistently claimed, I hope to learn about it from someone other than you.
I'm finished with this thread. See you on the next one....

This mental exercise... (Score: 0) by Anonymous on Sunday, January 25, 2004 @ 12:52:22 UTC | reminds me of levy-walks and levy-flights:
Levy walks are random processes with an underlying spatiotemporal coupling. This coupling penalizes long jumps, and therefore Levy walks give a proper stochastic description for a particle's motion with broad jump length distribution. We derive a generalized dynamical formulation for Levy walks in which the fractional equivalent of the material derivative occurs. Our approach will be useful for the dynamical formulation of Levy walks in an external force field or in phase space for which the description in terms of the continuous time random walk or its corresponding generalized master equation are less well suited.

I had a private conversation on the member chatroom with this limp pickle and could only conclude he needed to go back to Junior college and take a philospophy 101 course and learn to reason to a conclusion rather than the reverse. He sent back that his minor was in Philo. I replied I felt bad for his Philo Prof. for he had been a total failure. I then asked this site to put a muzzle on some posters or an ignore button as on Yahoo. They wouldn't so I quit posting. I will read one like yours. I am glad to see someone else step forward and call it the way it is! Oops they need a spell and grammer check on this thing also. |

Now I'm not saying he had anything to do with GWE, just he had heard of them..
Maybe someone else working for GM can confirm.. |

This is a pretty plausible vector for someone in GM to have heard about GWE. The guy who posted the comment about his buddy at GM, he said that his friend worked in sales support. Sales support people read trade rags. |
