Someone, maybe the same guy, first started mentioning this on this site on the 20th as a reply to this story. He also seems to think GWE was involved in Libya's (or does he really mean "Libia"?) efforts to get itself off the international blacklists. Now do you think it's more likely that mega35 is some fantasy prone person uninvolved with GWE who likes to write stories about them, or that he's throwing out PR? Seriously now.
Expect the GWE PR to get more wacky as they miss deadlines that they had set for themselves. They still say that they went into production on August 19, which makes no sense, since they have no customers and no revenue. Other deadlines, they are changing as they miss them.
Rasta - You ask why I don't update the website. It might be worthwile to document them changing deadlines in advance of them missing them, and I plan to write about that. But you are right that I haven't updated the site since summer. Partially, it's that the need's less pressing now than it was a year ago; the stock sales stopped last spring. But mostly, it's that I decided to stop publishing what the investors tell me. Back last winter and spring, I published a lot of information I got from the investors. But I started to worry that different investors were getting different stories, and I didn't want to out the leakers by reporting what they told me. The worst thing I could do is out someone who would be much more valuable leaking to NJ than they ever could leaking to me. When the NJ investigation started in the summer, I just stopped developing the investors as a source for the website. NJ is getting a lot more information than I ever could about the investment side of the story, and there is no point to me trying to help out there when NJ is doing the heavy lifting. I would love to understand the story better and to explain more of what I know, but it's really the investor's story, not mine, and NJ is going to help them more than I can.
I do finally have a solid line on Kelly that's not at all GWE related, so I hope to get some information there I can report. There is no risk of outing leakers, since the source (presumably) isn't involved in GWE. So no delicacy is required. |
