A photon is a pulse of energy travelling at the speed of light. The photon will of course possess distinct characteristics depending on the precise nature of the associated disturbance in the luminiferous medium. These German scientists seem to be claiming that they have somehow managed to make one photon, travelling at the speed of light, suddenly acquire the characteristics of another photon, presumably somewhere nearby. It's very hard to imagine how they have done this. We are not in possession of the details. It's hard to imagine how their two photons were even around long enough for them to know if the claimed teleportation had actually occurred or not. Quite frankly, I give much higher credibility to Steorn's claim to have found a way of extracting energy from a magnetic field. I'm open minded to Steorn's claim. | Parent
