UBC physicists may have solved one of nature's great puzzles: what causes the accelerating expansion of our universe? PhD student Qingdi Wang has tackled this question in a new study that tries to resolve a major incompatibility issue between two of the most successful theories that explain how our universe works: quantum mechanics and Einstein's theory of general relativity. The study suggests that if we zoomed in-way in-on the universe, we would realize it's made up of constantly fluctuating space and time. "Space-time is not as static as it appears, it's constantly moving," said Wang... ... When physicists apply the theory of quantum mechanics to vacuum energy, it predicts that there would be an incredibly large density of vacuum energy, far more than the total energy of all the particles in the universe. (Score: 1) by Kadamose on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 @ 16:04:58 GMT (User Info | Send a Message) The universe is not expanding.   If it were, why does the sun not deviate from its course, ever, during sunrise or sunset?   Why do the constellations never move and are in the same locations as they were thousands of years ago?   Why does Polaris never move?   Answer:   The Earth is flat, immovable and is the center of the 'universe' The truth is, this plane that we live on, is approximately 60,000 nautical miles in circumference; the sun and moon are approximately 32.7 miles in circumference and are about 3300 miles away.   Yes, you heard that right - 3300 miles up.   Not 91.1 million miles away and not 239,000 miles away - 3300!    Polaris is like a huge magnetic tether that moves the constellations, the sun, and the moon 360 degrees.   This invisible tether is what also causes wind and the tide. (think of it like a disco ball - or the base of the disco ball that rotates the structure). These assholes promoting the big bang, Einstein's useless and plagiarized relativity theory, and the so-called expansion of the universe - are simply there to deceive everybody and keep them locked away in eternal ignorance.    Because it is there they have control over you; it is there they become the authority figures who you must worship and ask permission.   They want you to feel like you are insignificant, and that this 'world' that we all live on is one of many (and by many, I mean billions) and that human life, as well as all life, was an accident; an error. Fortunately, this is not true.    This place that we live on is the CENTER of the universe, and is a place of extreme importance.    This is why there are so many species of plants, animals, and even humans!   It's one big, gigantic genetic library. With that said, scientists who promote the big bang/relativity crap need to all be gathered up and euthanized for the damage that they have done to previous, current, and future generations.    They are scum.
