Greetings and solicitations!
My name is Ralph Randolph Sawyer, also known as Randy Sawyer, or Randolph Sawyer, and I have written a book about an obscure subject now called: "Quantum Vacuum Energy".
Quantum vacuum energy was formerly known as "Zero Point Energy." This describes the condition of atoms at the hypothetical temperature of absolute zero. Even if all the heat energy is removed from an atom, the atom still has a residual vibration, now called an irreducible vibration. So, an atom is always in motion and the orbit of the electron never ceases.
Practical quantum vacuum energy has now been proven and is a patented process. The patent number is - 7379286. Practical quantum vacuum energy extraction can be utilized to solve many of the world's problems except the political ones. The nature of men has not changed in two thousand years.
The world is in a state of unrest, as our
economic system is failing. So, business as usual cannot save us from
ourselves. We have reached a critical crisis point.
We
have the knowledge to change, but not the political will. Change has
always been difficult. But change is necessary for ultimate survival.
Those who cannot change will be swept aside by a tremendous tide of
resolve.
All over the world people are in revolt. They are demanding something different.
So, here is that something completely different!

It is one thing to propose the repair of the ozone layer. It is another thing to be able to do so and bolster the economy at the same time by fostering new industry.
THE OZONE PROBLEM
What is ozone? Why is it necessary to the environment?
In layman's terms, ozone is a dynamic form of oxygen that has a loosely affixed extra atom in each molecule. This particular form of oxygen is produced by the interaction of high frequency ultraviolet rays emanating from our sun and also emanating from deep in space.
Some frequencies of ultraviolet produce ozone, and other different frequencies of ultraviolet destroy ozone. This is delicate balancing act that nature invisibly performs each day. Ozone's third loosely affixed atom reacts with impurities in the air, and is given back and ozone turns back into ordinary oxygen.
At an elevation of about twenty miles, a thin layer of these peculiar oxygen molecules protect us from high frequency radiation by converting some higher frequency radiation into lower less harmful frequencies. Higher frequencies of radiation would otherwise cause forms of cancer in humans, and severe sunburn.
It is now known with some degree of certainty that stratospheric ozone depletion is a positive feedback mechanism for global warming that we refer to generally as Climate Change.
Page 2
When high frequency ultraviolet passes through this thin electrochemical screen unchecked, this ultraviolet then interacts with lower level ozone in the troposphere we call pollution or smog electrically.
The by-product of lower level interaction with smog produces heat just as any chemical reaction produces heat. For this reason, the lower atmosphere is warming faster than most supercomputer predictions can account for. Most likely, this is a positive feedback mechanism not adequately incorporated into the computer simulations. That is why the reality of global warming is proceeding faster than our calculations. A computer can only give us answers based on the information that we provide to it.
For this reason, the self-same technology that we might develop for transportation and energy needs must be applicable to ozone repair, or we will not be successful at mitigating either problem.
To our detriment, the stratosphere due to ozone depletion is growing colder, and the troposphere is warming. For this reason, ice crystals that normally are not present in the stratosphere are forming there that act as a staging platform for further ozone destruction. Therefore, we must set out sights on both problems simultaneously and solve both problems at the same time.
How can beneficial ozone be produced to replace that which has been lost?
Ozone can be acquired through the electrification of normal air, so we must assume that repairing the ozone layer is
primarily a problem in electronics.

Quantum Tunneling - A New Atomic Theory
The atom is indeed a curious thing. It seems we may live in virtual universe. With the electron in constant motion we cannot determine its position at any one time. More curiously the atom seems to be a virtual entity itself mostly without matter.
It may be a virtual field held together by the continuous motion of electrons and the effect of fields. One would think that this motion would decay, but we know that the energy of this motion is -constantly being renewed. How is this so? The answer may lie in quantum tunneling.
Quantum tunneling can be explained in terms of wave mechanics. When an electron approaches a barrier that is, sufficiently narrow it can leap through the barrier even though in Classical Physics, there is insufficient energy for it to do so. The electron occupies a certain amount of space due to the wave function, and the wave function is thought to already be inside the barrier. It is as though one end of the tunnel is exchanged for the other end and the electron makes a quantum leap to the other side.
The accepted view of the atomic structure is that of a nucleus being orbited by electrons in planetary fashion, but this may not be true. A more precise view of electron orbits may not be planetary in nature, but in the shape of a toroid or donut and involve the electron tunneling through the area of the nucleus.
In the atom, the energy of the atom is renewed from being subjected to the Zero Point Electromagnetic Field. It is held together by quantum confinement of the field and the resonance conditions created by orbiting electrons.
Page 4
The confining field of an atom is created by orbiting electrons. That is, the wave function of the electrons is reflected due to resonance and quantum confinement. Energy is transferred to the wave with each passing of the reflected wave past the area of the nucleus. We know with little doubt the dual nature of the electron — a particle yet a wave.
Duality leads us to no other conclusion but to quantum confinement of the wave since reflection implies confinement. The electron exists as both particle and wave. A wave being emitted by one electron can be reflected by this same orbiting electron.
The hydrogen atom contains only one electron, but adsorption and emission still takes place, so there is still reflection taking place in the hydrogen atom. It is as though the orbiting electron was playing ping pong by itself rushing to be on the other side of the atom to reflect the wave back again,
Perhaps, nature makes use of quantum tunneling to support the virtual shape of the atom. If so, the electron orbits due to magnetic acceleration by way of atomic polarization and field emission from the atom. The electron does not "pass through" the area of the nucleus, but makes a quantum leap beyond this area breaking the speed limit if you will. It would indeed imply that quantum tunneling was taking place in the atom if the orbital shape was truly a toroid.
The earth is similar in design to this theoretical atom and, the basic design of the earth and atoms seems to be repeated throughout nature, and if we can only learn from nature's grand design we may be on our way to taking a quantum leap ourselves
Page 5
in our physical science. Only then we would not for granted the scientific ideas that have been put in place a hundred years ago.
Our universe is filled with electromagnetic radiation of different frequencies. Could it be that this radiation comes from the acceleration and deceleration of electrons in atoms? Perhaps this is so. At any rate, present atomic theory may be completely wrong.
Personally, I do not believe that we need to consider extra dimensions to understand the atom. Except for the principle of quantum tunneling, the physics of the atom may be quite simple and easy for us to understand.
Our present atomic theory is admittedly flawed with the use of probability waves as an explanation of electron position. Using the term "probability waves" may describe the possible position of electrons, but it does not explain why the electrons are in motion. Most likely, electron tunneling is taking place, and we are not aware of the quantum leap that electrons continually take.
If we can understand the workings of the atom, we can develop more efficient energy systems and solve the energy dilemma. At any rate, the value of any idea is found in the useful devices we make from its understanding.
Why We Have Energy in the Universe
Every form of fossil energy that we extract from the earth, and radioactive materials for nuclear power to fuel our centralized power plants must be converted into high frequency and high voltage AC before it can be transmitted in our power grids. To do this we produce steam and turn mighty generators.
Page 6
Sometimes, we use wind and water to turn smaller generators on a greatly reduced scale, but the principle in all these devices is the same.
Today, because of promising materials science we do not have to turn generators to produce alternating current, and this is not the way AC is produced by nature.
The only form of energy that has ever proven so practical as to -power the entire world for the last one hundred plus years is alternating current. Alternating current; now called AC was conceived of in a vision of a rotating magnetic field by Nikola Tesla in the latter part of the nineteenth century.
Tesla later devised our system of electrical distribution and invented the induction motor in 1888 that is used in our appliances today. Both were a fulfillment of his vision of alternating current. Yet, despite his efforts, he is not well known today by people in the world.
The universe is driven by an irreducible vibration some the zero point, and our universe is filled with high frequency electromagnetic waves. Piezoelectricity in crystals amounts to an irreducible vibration also, when nature gets its magnetic grip on crystals.
The presence of piezoelectricity was confirmed by the Curies after being deduced from fundamental thermodynamic principles in 1881. The Curries then confirmed a converse effect and obtained proof of complete reversibility of electro-eleasto-mechanical deformations in piezoelectric crystals.
Page 7
In layman's terms, piezoelectricity is the production of a voltage on the faces of these crystals due to tiny vibrations that cannot be observed visually. Nevertheless they are utilized today in the production of high voltage and high frequency alternating current but only in certain special applications.
During World War I, piezoelectric devices and materials were developed in the United States and using these materials, we developed sonar for the war effort. ' Companies kept the information under wraps in hopes of securing monetary gains from patents. Today, thin slices of manmade piezoelectric crystals form the basis of piezoelectric motors and very precise control mechanisms for laser mirror alignment among many applications, but we do not use them to power our nation's electric grids.
Nature uses piezoelectric crystals to produce almost unlimited energy in the universe in the form of high frequency electromagnetic waves, but not with slices of the crystals as we do, but rather spherical crystals.
With subtle and sometimes mysterious methods, nature turns globs of silica glass with just a few impurities slowly into crystals in much the same way that the semiconductor industry makes piezoelectric crystals today. These mighty and subtle forces of nature join magnets to globs of glass subjecting them to a strong electric field turning them into crystals. Then these magnets squeeze the newly formed crystals and in doing so apply a changing magnetic field to them at the same time storing a charge on the crystal faces.
Page 8
So, the crystals are electrically charged from the magnetic squeezing and then discharge electricity in the form of an electromagnetic pulse that has a mighty magnetic force upon the crystal. Each time the crystal charges or discharges, the fields of the moving magnets are interacting, and the magnetic field within the crystal is changing strength.
The electromagnetic waves produced by the tiny deformation of these crystals is of very high frequency or "short" and fit the confinement of the spherical crystal so that they are reinforced by the principle of resonance. Usually, the displacement of the crystal is measured in just a few nanometers so the electromagnetic waves produced are also just a few nanomenters in wavelength. Recognizing this it should be apparent that making use of very tiny crystals for producing AC might be impractical unless some modifications are made.
Practical application of this vibration would need to involve a much lower frequency, a larger displacement, and a bigger confinement. So, we would need stronger magnetic fields. To achieve much stronger fields, we would employ both permanent magnets and ferromagnets.
Ferromagnets produce a strong and changing magnetic field in the presence of a weaker changing one.
Remember that the presence of a conductor in a magnetic field is not enough to produce AC. We need the vibration or oscillation of
the crystal to produce an interaction between the magnetic fields. We must have a changing magnetic field.
Page 9
A larger confinement would reduce the frequency of the alternating current produced because the emitted wave would then be governed by the geometry of the dielectric shell of the larger confinement, and the larger resonant chamber. So, the shell would then discharge at a much lower frequency. The principles are the same as nature's piezoelectric crystals but the size of a practical device needs to be larger.
To understand the workings of piezoelectric crystals one needs to recognize that the crystals are a regular arrangement of atoms that each have their own magnetic fields that are interacting and producing electromagnetic waves as the crystal changes shape.
The crystal is mostly empty space. So our crystal is made of faces and spaces.
The waves produced by electrons orbiting the individual atoms each have a magnetic force so that these waves help to produce a displacement within the crystal and alternating current. The atoms making up the crystal are likewise charging and discharging just like the crystal. This is what amounts to the interaction of changing magnetic fields and a conductor or "resistance" within the fields.
Just as quantum dots are nonlinear optical devices, piezoelectric crystals produce electricity in a nonlinear fashion. They amount to nature's example of electronic amplifiers.
Page 10
The Limitations of Conventional Energy
Conventional energy will never get us to where, we need to be. That is: sustainability in our economy, a sustainable energy industry, and a healthy environment.
Conventional energy requires massive amounts of manufacturing input energy, so that the amount of energy produced by the energy systems we manufacture most likely
Will never be returned during the lifetime of their operation. Wind energy although a good try, and although the industry is creating jobs, will not do it, as there is simply not enough open land. Plus, as in solar energy, there is the problem of intermittent energy activity.
Most every hydroelectric site has already been developed built using up massive amounts of materials and labor. These projects have displaced many people from their homes. And also ends the use of the land behind the dams for anything but water retention, fishing, and recreation.
The most serious problem with massive dams is the fact that these dams have a limited lifetime. We may become rudely aware of this as they are especially vulnerable to climate change because they are made of concrete. When temperatures become too hot, the concrete will begin to degrade rapidly.
Page 11
All concrete is partly living matter, and these organisms grow and degrade the concrete. Plus, we have all witnessed the buckling and explosions of concrete when subjected to excessive heat.
Normally, concrete has a lifetime of about 20 years in outdoor situations under normal weather conditions, but our weather conditions are changing fast. In some cases, our concrete highways and bridges are failing before they are even completed. So the hidden cost of Climate Change may not be calculated into the actual cost of dams.
Even solar power, seemingly our most promising industry suffers from the limitation of energy investment verses return, plus a couple other critical limitations.
First, there are the material limitations in conventional photovoltaics. There is a very limited supply of silicon suitable for use in solar cells. Also, materials. for other more advanced solar cells are in short supply. Plus, there is the cost. As supply is used up, the price of raw materials will continue to rise making their use impractical. There is simply not enough raw materials to power the entire world using conventional materials.
There is some hope for a successful solar industry beyond the age of silicon that will be discussed later.
Everyone should already be aware of the pitfalls of nuclear power. There is a massive investment necessary to mine and refine nuclear fuel. This requires the expenditure of conventional energy in the form of fossil fuels. Then, there is the building of the reactors again requiring massive outlays of energy and materials. Also, there is the possibility of accidents, and mistakes, plus the further possibility of attacks on reactor sites.
Page 12
The most serious problem associated with nuclear power as everyone should already be aware, is the problem of disposal. Since the radioactive materials we mined were originally widely dispersed in the environment, the only good option is to again disperse the radioactive products back into the environment. This would mean that the level of radioactivity at any one location would not be harmful. Of course, there is always going to be the "not in my backyard syndrome", and that makes this a very pressing problem.
The biggest problem associated with dispersing radioactive waste is that it would require more energy to do this than any renewed nuclear program would ever produce for us. Again, the problem is more energy input than output.
Now let us consider nonconventional energy. Our best option is a variation of solar energy. Solar energy beyond the silicon regime offers us hope that we may be able to overcome material limitations and scarcity of materials, as well as the energy input verses output problem. What we really need is solar energy that uses common, ordinary materials, and this can be achieved with the advantages of emerging nanotechnology.
Instead of silicon, it might become feasible to utilize silica, nickel, aluminum, and iron to make a new kind of energy conversion device.
Scientists know about piezoelectricity, and almost all piezoelectric crystals are manmade, so the science is available for us to manufacture them. Currently however, most if not all, manmade piezoelectric crystals are made from rare materials and are semiconductors. Some are from group 2 and group 6 in the
Page 13
periodic table and are semiconductors. That means that the materials to make these are scarce.
Instead of a semiconductor crystal, we could make a dielectric that mimics the structure of a semiconductor and mimics a piezoelectric crystal. This is possible with ultrathin oxides between 1/z and 5 nanometers. Silica is an oxide.
The manufacturing process would involve making the dielectric in the presence of a strong electric field and magnetically aligning aluminum-nickel-iron spheres within the "crystal".
Silica is one of the most abundant materials on earth and it has been shown in studies at our national laboratories that the structure of ultrathin oxides takes on the characteristics of semiconductors at these tiny dimensions. The laws of quantum physics take over and tell the oxide to become more organized like a semiconductor crystal.
The only problem that we would then need to address is the conduction problem. Silica is an insulator, and ultrathin silica is a dielectric capable of storing an electric charge. So our crystalline material would need electrically conductive pathways integrated into the structure.
The solution is the magnetic alignment of tiny nickel-aluminum-iron spheres. (quantum confined) Magnetic squeezing of the crystal along the yx axis would store charge on the crystal faces. This probably would not work very well except that the dielectric properties of the confinement and the resonance due to quantum confinement can produce very strong ferro-magnets.
Page 14
Perhaps, the magnet is converting ultra high frequencies of radiation into magnetism because of these properties and the described properties are the reason for the greater magnetic
strength.
The application of our high frequency signal, i.e. the energy from space of a frequency higher than visible light would be our source of natural radiation. The energy input would therefore be uninterrupted and ubiquitous. Ubiquitous means abundant everywhere. This "signal" would be short enough in wavelength
that it would fit the confinement causing the crystal to vibrate continually storing a new charge on the crystal faces.
Resonance of the crystal spaces would reinforce the energy of the radiation. The quantum confined micro alloys would be in effect a tiny resistance placed within the path of the confined wave from which more energy would be transferred. So, there would be a constructive reinforcement of this wave. Plus, the vibrating magnetic alloys within the structure would continue to produce a series of charges on the crystal faces due to electromagnetic induction. This may sound complicated at first, but is nothing more than a conductor placed in a changing magnetic field.
Our crystalline material would not be a true semiconductor in the conventional form so it would likely not degrade as fast and would have a longer working lifetime. Also, our material would produce alternating current as opposed to the direct current that conventional solar cells produce. The efficiency would be much greater then and so return more energy over the operating lifetime than was used in the manufacturing process. Alternating current is always much more efficient than direct current.
Page 15
The proposed material would need to be purified like conventional semiconductors are, but would be cheaper over the long term. Its manufacture would add another layer to our economy, where we would then have the beginnings of a value-added economy such as Japan has now.
Most of the cost would be in the form of highly skilled labor. The environmental effects of this industry would need to be considered, but might actually be positive, as it would present opportunities for us to address environmental problems that we do not have now. The opportunity for having energy available at any location and available 24 hours a day could help us tremendously.
Our energy systems could then become decentralized, but remain partly centralized for a time until the new technology becomes fully established. This would eventually make us more secure, as centralized energy systems might present our enemies with a tempting target.
The proposed material would be called- PYRX (pronounced pyrock) as it would be an oxide with the properties of a piezoelectric crystal squeezed magnetically along the YX axis. The aligned magnetic alloys would form a series of strategically placed resistances (R) between the mechanical and electrical axes. Without these strategically placed magnets, our device would not be practical and not a conductor. The eventual development of this material might help us tremendously.
Page 16
The Ethanol Solution
Ethanol is not a good solution to energy security. It is simply not possible to convert corn to biofuel without using the same amount of energy to produce the fuel as it would yield when burned. When you factor in the amount of fertilizers that are needed to grow corn, the transportation cost, and the rise in food prices due to the supply problem of corn, the tradeoff is a "Deal with the Devil".
Here is a better answer...
A Second Look at Dielectrics and ZPE
For hundreds of years, inquisitive minds have experimented with storing and discharging electricity with capacitors. One of the first of these capacitors is the now familiar glass Leyden jar. Originally, experimenters charged the jar by an electrostatic generator, sometimes referred to as a frictional generator.
Some early inventors experimented by charging glass spheres using friction, sometimes even by rubbing them with their bare hands.
Friction is nothing more than vibrations. The effect of charging a dielectric and separating the charges is the same no matter what the method. The design of nature offers us a better way to charge the dielectric surface of glass.
Nature may indeed provide a universal design for tapping zero point energy by utilizing dielectrics. We recognize the infinitesimal vibration of everything in the universe. Yet, we do not recognize the simple design.
Page 17
On glass capacitors, the electrostatic charge is stored on the surface. The thinner a dielectric, the greater amount of charge can be stored at a given voltage, and the greater the vibration possible.
To make an electrical storage device or dielectric one does not need a thick glass. A thin glass sphere with two attached magnets, or poles is a vibrational energy conversion device consisting of two electrodes, a dielectric, and a resonant chamber. This design is used by nature over and over. We just may have not recognized this. To understand the design of nature, one only needs to know this simple truth.
Such an assembly generates electromagnetic waves since the thin dielectric sphere is squeezed and displaced by the magnetic forces of attached magnets. This is a practical form of vibrational energy conversion. The dielectric sphere charges and then discharges. When it discharges, it vibrates.
The displacement of the magnets on our sphere changes the strength and direction of the magnetic field because the magnets are first moving closer and then farther apart relative to each other. So, the fields of the two magnets are interacting. This displacement might be very small and we may not visually observe the vibrations, but they do exist.
Instead of just producing a static charge and storing that charge, the attached magnets are producing a magnetic field changing in direction and strength thus producing alternating current.
By vibrationally sending high frequency waves into the chamber, the frequency of these waves would be numerous, but only the waves that actually fit the confinement would be amplified by the
principle of resonance. It is the midpoint of the wave, or "zero point", where the transfer of energy takes place from the wave to the dielectric material where it is temporarily stored.
So, only the odd numbered nodes, or half waves would be amplified by the vibration of the sphere. Even numbered nodes or what is commonly called "anti-nodes" would be cancelled out. Instead of constructive reinforcement, the anti-nodes would suffer from destructive interference.
In essence, this is how masers and lasers work. They are pumped electronically, and utilize resonance, and this is how nature's atoms, planets, and stars work. They are pumped by the electromagnetic waves in the universe, and they utilize resonance.
We can save the world with a single word, and the word is transfer.
Electronics experts have experimented with crystals and semiconductors for many years. The word transistor is actually an abbreviation for transfer resistance. Experimenting with semiconductors and transistors is good practice and a good way to explore nature's mysteries. However, early experimenters knew nothing about semiconductors.
Nikola Tesla, the inventor of alternating current that presently powers our whole planet did not have semiconductors, but he did wonders with dielectrics.
Page 18
Traditional solar energy will never power the world as we do now by converting fossil energy to AC, because of a shortage of materials. Dielectrics might just do for us what we now consider impossible. We might be able to tap ZPE and convert this amazing resource into alternating current.
If using magnets and dielectrics is an easier way to produce AC, why have we not done so? Perhaps, we are trying too hard and not looking to nature to give us a simple answer.
Perhaps this is the answer we need.
The process of free energy due to resonance combined with quantum confinement can be proven without doubt by attaching magnets to a piezoelectric quantum dot along the yx axis where the maximum displacement will take place, and choosing the dimensions so that the dot oscillates at radio frequency. This will burn water.
Also, as mentioned, a manufactured hollow dielectric sphere with attached magnets with the dimensions chosen to vibrate or "oscillate" at radio frequency or ultrasound will cause water to combust and continue to burn as long as this real physical vibration continues.
Computer simulation is needed to confirm the results of such a device before it is built so that one's efforts are not wasted. This would save a great deal of time in the development stage. Dielectrics naturally polarize themselves in the presence of an electric field.
Page 19
There is really no need for fossil fuels at all for powering an internal combustion engine if natural radiant energy is converted to actual radio frequency physical vibrations or ultrasound.
Hydrogen on demand through dielectric heating assisted electrolysis may be the basis of a new generation of hydrogen cars. Hydrogen on demand is a real and plausible solution to global warming. We just need to put a plan in place. What we need is new leadership and common sense science.
To understand quantum confinement, Or the confining of an electron to a very small area in all directions, one must again consider the nature of the electron.
The electron exists as both particle and wave. The more that one tries to confine an electron, the less the wave function of the electron is confined. The electron is constantly vibrating and in
motion.
When solar cells are manufactured, the area where the positively doped structure meets the negatively doped structure forms a barrier that the electron can surmount when the electron in the dopant atom is struck by a predetermined frequency of radiant energy. The electron passes into the conduction band and a current of electricity flows.
Most people know little of the architecture of solar cells, and this is understandable, however, this is not the only architecture possible.
A quantum confined particle, or quantum dot, is simply a tiny particle of conductive material encapsulated with a thin insulating shell. When I say small, I mean that the assembly is just a few
Page 20 B
nanometers in diameter. When the particle is struck by radiation of high frequency, the electron passes outside of its shell and a current of electricity is produced.
It is possible to build a hydrogen car that uses an internal combustion engine if the technology described here is applied to the production of hydrogen on demand by resonance assisted electrolysis. This would be as simple as utilizing rare magnetic glass with ferromagnetic cavities two nanometers in size. The resonant dissociation frequency of the water molecule is about 43 KHz.
According to Wikipedia, there are two mechanisms involved in dissociation. One is known as electronic conduction where the current flow in an oscillating field allows the material to be warmed to absorb energy as heat. This is the essence of microware heating.
The second method involves actual vibration of a dielectric medium in a radio frequency field. This is known as "dielectric heating" and involves dipole rotation.
Molecular rotation occurs in materials having an electrical dipole moment, which will align themselves in the field by rotating. AS the field alternates, the molecules reverse direction and accelerate the motion of individual molecules or atoms.
When water is dissociated using this method, the hydrogen and oxygen recombine with a release of energy.
Page 21
To acquire H2 gas, the glass needs to be cooled electronically, so that water droplets condense in the ferromagnetic Casimir cavities.
This can be done by imitating the structure of superconductor and semiconductor thin films, and with ultra-thin oxides in a junction called the Schottky junction.
The understanding of tunneling junctions is understood in Wave Mechanics as a Wave Function. The wave function is known to be due to quantum vibrations in an extended reality.
These quantum vibrations are also known as "Zero Point Vibrations" since they occur even at absolute zero, and are thought to be due to quantum criticality.
Quantum Criticality is a phase transition temperature that takes place in crystals that are in the state of transiting between the superconducting state and the ferromagnetic state.
Superconduction is thought to be due to these transitional vibrations called critical vibrations. Superconductivity takes place in some crystals at three degrees above absolute zero. However, the transition temperature of some man-made superconductors is higher.

The Coming of the Pyro-Dollar
For over one hundred years, petroleum and the "Petro-dollar", along with natural gas and coal has provided the energy to run an ever-expanding economy.
In 2012 though, we begin to realize that forms of fossil energies that we have depended on for so long have both benefits and shortcomings.
We have depended on abundant supplies of cheap energy, and we have put off coming to terms with global warming and what we call "peak oil". This is the point in our civilization where supply does not keep up with demand, and the negative effects of fossil energy on our environment become all too self-evident to ignore.
Easily recoverable oil is behind us, and we must now make a difficult decision to begin a new economy based on a new form of energy. We must now make a choice collectively to base our economy on the "Pyro-dollar".
Common oxides of silica and other common oxides can redeem us from our past mistakes, because they are abundant and cheap, and we have the technology to use them now for the production of clean energy. We also now have the supercomputers we will need to know the results of engineering these energy conversion devices without first building them. This process is called virtual engineering, and can save a lot of time.
However, the transition will not be easy. Our economy needs some rethinking. First, we must see the failure of our economy and admitting failure is sometimes difficult.
Page 23
How can we get by peak oil without breaking the economy?
A REVERSE ECONOMIC PYRAMID
When we come to the realization that none of the present economic systems has worked the way we planned, we will see the need for change.
Capitalism is not the answer. Communism has not worked as we hoped either. These systems tend to concentrate wealth and power in the hands of a few, and restrict goods to those who have money.
In a world where energy is cheap, abundance of cheap energy produces a growing imbalance because commodities are scarce even though more people have money to buy them. We then have more money chasing after fewer goods.
On the flip side, the availability of-cheap energy provides a useful tool to deal with the shortage of commodities if a common sense plan is put in place. Energy is the tool that drives our economy, and clean, nonpolluting energy can solve many of the world's problems. That is, if we work together toward a common goal. Cooperation is the master key to a good economy based on cheap and clean energy.
Every single country is in many ways dependent on all the others for their needs. We simply cannot survive without each other's help. For this reason we must put in place a new economic system based on cooperation and communication.
Page 24
This would be a symbiotic relationship based on the axiom of preserving ourselves while preserving the symphony of nature that sustains us.
This new relationship is what we will call, "The Science of Symbiotics".
In order to survive and prosper in the new economy, we need to substitute confrontation with cooperation while we industrialize every country. With cooperation and communication, we will build an expanding economy based on adding value to common oxides. The PYRX industry will provide the impetus and energy to drive all the other industries. Our ultimate survival depends on clean industry, and clean energy.
The Reverse Economic Pyramid is a fancy name for a simple system of money recycling. The PYRX industry will change the world, but no one person or company should be allowed too much control over energy. I do not expect compensation for any of my proposals. Still, there must be money constantly circulating to drive the world economy.
In the new world economy we will have more wealth produced from all the new industries that spring from the seed of new ideas. I propose that we use the most brilliant minds in the world to help us make the difficult decisions of how to redevelop our world. These minds do not belong to people, but to super computers.
The United States Government will be legally charged with the electronic distribution of wealth that these new technologies will create. The reason for this is that the U.S. has the computers.
Page 25
The U.S. may be the only country capable of overseeing such a program. So, we need to keep all avenues of communication open at all times to avoid misunderstandings. We must agree on to the need to be honest and cooperate on all levels.
Otherwise, there is no hope for the world. The proposed technology can save the world or destroy it. It is that dangerous used as a weapon.
The U. S. will have rights to the technology, and we will all be collectively responsible to use it wisely.
The new economy can be thought of as a provider economy. Many of our old support businesses will be negatively affected by changing course now, so we must insure that economic growth continues without doing irreparable damage to the economy. Therefore, government must become a business that makes money, and oversees, and reinvests newly created money into public services and public works.
Our economy is weak. It may be heading for recession, but new energy technology provides a unique opportunity for us. Only when we see the need for new energy and new ideas, is such dramatic change possible at all. We can succeed though.
The system of wealth distribution should be as automatic as possible. Since each of us will depend on the continued functioning of our super computers, any country that decides to attack another will actually be attacking itself.
Page 26
Our new economy must also be based on recycling, and wise use of the resources of the earth. Common oxides can be recycled over and over.
By using computers to analyze growth patterns, and plan a growth curve, government can guide society as a whole, being both a control of prosperity and a benefactor, funneling an ever-growing dividend back into the economy through public works and public services. Government in turn benefits from contributions by the people. Cooperation between countries and a free exchange of ideas is needed to make the system work.
In a Reverse Economic Pyramid, everyone must prosper or the system will break down. One agency might have to share if another does not have enough. For there to be growth in any economy, there must be both interesting and desirable products to spend this surplus on.
The process of obtaining hydrogen and oxygen from electrolysis and using hydrogen and oxygen to produce electricity in a sense produces more and more fuel and more and more electricity, a kind of breeding. How can we take advantage of all this power and create wealth in the market place?
EXPANSION OF THE PYRX INDUSTRY
(A New Building Boom)
The manufacture of PYRX glass is an energy-hungry operation, however glass in general is a very versatile building material. Its potential has not yet been fully explored because of the amount of energy needed to produce it.
Page 27
Now that we can generate alternating current from free, ambient energy, we will have the energy we need to pursue energy intensive industries.
By exploring emerging sciences and their opportunities we can more fully develop this material that is in some ways old, and in other ways new.
Exploring our opportunities in nano-technology could open up new areas of science and exploration, and make a more developed glass industry possible. This would take the pressure off other more limited natural resources.
A modern 21st century glass industry can engineer glass products to be used to build roads, bridges, and drainage systems. Among the products that can be built with glass includes - doors, windows, piping, plumbing fixtures, siding, and roofing. An ever-expanding glass industry can be driven by hydrogen and free energy, and in turn could fire up a weak economy.
A gradual switch from forest products and fossil fuels to glass products is a logical step because glass is an industry with tremendous growth potential. There are ample resources to perpetuate such an industry, since silica glass comes from ordinary sand, and can be recycled over and over. As more and more money is generated from this industry, there would be more and more products to spend this money on.
Page 28
Using PYRX glass with recently developed technologies along with a melding between the structure and the earth below, structures can benefit from the earth as well as provide benefits to
the earth.
GEOCONDITIONING — THE UNDERGROUND PYRAMID
What is geoconditioning? Geoconditioning means earth conditioning. To be more specific, geoconditioning is an attempt to utilize passive and active ambient free energy techniques to cool the lower atmosphere near the ground in the summer within hot climates, on a large scale. This is indeed possible to a limited
extent now.
When AstroWorld opened here in Houston, outdoor air conditioning was utilized to keep patrons cool while they stood in long lines for the amusement rides. Of course, passive and active solar energy was not used for this purpose, but instead, energy was drawn from the power grid.
Air conditioning moves cold air to one location while moving hot air to another location. There is no net loss of heat, but a transfer of heat to another location. With passive air conditioning, natural air flows are given assistance by the design of the building to relocate hot air farther away from the building or above the building leaving the building and the surrounding area cooler.
The Underground Pyramid utilizes these natural air flows, the cooling effects of moist breezes, and earth sheltering to achieve these ends.
Page 29
The Underground Pyramid uses hollow glass box beams as building material and passive heat gain from the sun. The structure is shaped like a stepped pyramid with soil on top of each level. Evaporative cooling is utilized inside the structure and spaces are left between each level to provide natural ventilation and stratification of air levels.
This principle has been known for some time, and is the principle of the cooling tower. Warm moist air will rise within the structure and exit an open top, and cool moist air will descend inside and near the structure. This will create a comfort zone nearby, and a pleasant experience within the structure. Since passive air conditioning works best on a large scale, our structure needs to be quite large.
Earth sheltering via the earthen material on top of each level will provide a heat sink moderating the effects of heat gain from sunlight. Only low angle sunlight will enter the structure.
Evaporative cooling can be incorporated into the design by building our structure over a hollow in the ground about thirty feet deep that would collect rainwater. This water can be used in the cooling process.
We have all experienced the cooling effect of moist breezes and cool, moist air near fountains, and this is the effect intended.
Although this structure sounds simply like an air conditioner, or cooling tower, it can be much more. This can be a place of great beauty, a sanctuary for nature. All kinds of flora and fauna would find the environment quite pleasant in and near such a structure.
Page 30
Below the structure, water could be conveyed by stepped channels, like salmon runs, and circulated in artificial streams. Small pumps and glass stones could filter the water. These glass "stones" could be manufactured while desalinating ocean water and contain salt.
A separate but similar system could be used to convert waste water to nutrients, and could grow soil and trees. Water would be continuously pumped to the highest level and allowed to flow back into our channels and streams. Air as well as water would be pumped into our system from below, helping to filter and aerate our system.
A gentle misting of water would be provided inside of the structure and water would condense and drip from the bottom of each level, providing a gentle rainforest effect. k
Our streets could also be made of glass, storing water beneath them and utilize water cooling. Our streets can be a vast system of water cisterns. Water in these cisterns would be continuously filtered and aerated by glass stones and small pumps.
In times of heavy rain, these cisterns could dispense water to an aquifer that is also man made imitating natural ones. Water from these systems could be used to irrigate agricultural areas and top water trees. By building a contained underground system, there would be water in times of drought and holding areas in times of
excess.
Page 31
Should our system become obsolete, it could be torn down and recycled totally using the same materials. The advantage of this design is that it could be built in stages, one neighborhood at a time and then interconnected.
Excess soil obtained from the building of these systems could be used to enrich desert areas after being mixed with waste, producing areas that could later be inhabited.
Trees could be relocated to their own self-contained systems based on this design that could top water, deep water, and add nutrients from below. These systems for all purposes would look like
stepped pyramids with connecting tunnels.
In the future, we might raise food fish in our cellars and beneath the streets, all monitored and maintained by computers. Such structures would be in harmony with nature and give off no fumes. A structure built with glass could last for centuries.
Page 32
Building Roads that Protect our Fish and Water Supplies
As global temperatures begin to rise due to global warming and summer temperatures climb past 100 degrees in some parts of the country, all our concrete roads and bridges will begin to buckle and even explode in some cases making constant repair an everyday event and a general nuisance. All these public works will eventually need to be replaced and it may not be very many years from now that we will need to do this.
The Clinton administration experimented with building roads and bridges out of glass. It was determined that such glass roads and bridges would cost five times as much to build, but last five times longer. Doing this is not practical today, as the manufacturing process requires substantial energy. Soon however, we will be developing new forms of energy including electrical energy derived from attaching magnets to piezoelectric crystals.
As you may be aware already, concrete has a limited life span under normal conditions of about fifteen years. Presently, we use fossil energy and special made grinders to turn big chunks of concrete back into smaller ones in order to recycle the material and use it on our highways. To do this, about ten percent new material must be added in order to bind the old material and reuse it. Even then the newly built roads made from recycled concrete will not last as long as the original roads because once the living organisms begin to grow, they will continue to grow degrading the concrete. The recycled concrete is just not as good quality.
Back in 1957, the Corning Glass Company developed a glass ceramic called "pyroceram" that exhibited strange and mysterious properties. Pyroceram is a very light material and a crystalline structure with faces and spaces.
Page 33
These strange electrical properties were not fully understood at the time. We now surmise that these effects are magnetic effects caused by changing magnetic fields produced by light adsorption and other higher frequencies of electromagnetic waves. Even though this material is not highly purified as semiconductors are today, you can get a shock from touching it.
This line of reasoning leads one to believe in the possibility that a new but highly purified variation of this material could be manufactured by the semiconductor industry. This material could eventually be mass produced and turn ambient energy in our environment such as visible light and traffic vibrations directly into electricity by utilizing the resonance conditions in the glass crystals. Some day soon, all the energy we could ever need might eventually be widely distributed and decentralized by turning our roads into energy conversion systems.
At the present time, such a grand effort is unnecessary and would be cost prohibitive, but it may become a necessity to do this later.
If and when sea levels begin to rise, we will need to also raise the level of our businesses and residential dwellings including whole neighborhoods and the land they stand on. We will also need to provide a much greater capacity in our drainage systems in towns and cities everywhere.
Down south of Houston there is a residential community built near the bay that was literally built on land reclaimed from the ocean. Canals were dredged and houses were built next to these canals giving residents access to Galveston Bay from their back yards. These residents routinely use their personal recreational
Page 34
boats to get access to Galveston Bay. People who love the ocean appreciate having ready access to it.
In our cities though, people do not enjoy having to use boats to get around and prefer the automobile instead, but we can use the principle of dredging and land reclamation to adjust to changing climate in a new way.
Since we will eventually be compelled to raise land levels and streets, plus provide for a much greater capacity for drainage, why not do this in an intelligent and more effective manner at that time?
If we were to dredge down thirty feet, we will reach the level of thermal stability where a comfortable temperature can be maintained. Doing this will provide the earthen material to raise the level of our neighborhoods.
So, soon we may need to start building huge factories where sections of road/drainage culverts can be manufactured from this glass ceramic material. These roads would need to be transparent or semi-transparent allowing us to have readily available water supplies and fish nurseries beneath the streets.
The level of water in these multipurpose systems would necessarily need to be monitored and maintained at near constant levels. If this is not done, buoyancy would raise the systems out of the ground like a swimming pool that has long been drained. Keeping water levels near constant level could be done electrically with bulkheads and adjustable locks. This would indeed become practical if we had sufficient clean renewable energy, and we will
Page 35
have this soon. Water temperatures would need to be maintained at levels where fish would thrive. If we have clean energy, all these things become practical.
Making glass is an energy intensive process, but free energy makes energy intensive processes viable.
If we weigh down these systems with rounded glass "stones" fast moving water would purify itself as it does in natural fast moving streams. These stones would also provide a place for fish to lay Their eggs. Water in our man-made systems would be clean enough to support a fish nursery.
One of the problems we presently face today is the destruction of natural fish hatcheries. Many of our shallow estuaries along coastal areas have been filled in and built on. This may have seemed like a good idea at the time, but may lead to food shortages later.
There are still many smaller fish in the oceans but we may need many more later. Many of the larger fish have been fished out though, and we will need much more fish in the future. Building fish nurseries is probably a very good idea to consider now. Since we are facing the possibility of rising sea levels and drainage problems simultaneously, why not solve all these problems simultaneously?
In London England, the great level of wealth concentrated there allows architects to build heat reducing elements into the buildings they design there. If you have been to London or seen photographs of London highrises, you may have noticed that the
Page 36
windows of some of these buildings are coated with the thinnest sprinkling of real gold. As incredible as it may seem, this coating filters out some of the higher frequencies of solar radiation cooling the inside of the buildings. Building owners save a lot of money on air conditioning bills by having this thin sprinkling of gold.
The same principle can be used for cooling water stored beneath the streets. If indeed water becomes too hot it will become oxygen depleted and the fish will die. This is why investing in this coating would not only be practical, but necessary. Fish also need light and need to be constantly supplied with fresh water and air that could be pumped in from below.
Building these roads and drainage systems and engineering them to supply their own energy may presently sound like an impossible pipe dream, but if temperatures rise and the level of wealth in society also rises, this will not only become practical, but necessary.
Uncoupling the economy from oil and gas will lead to a more even distribution of wealth and a long period of economic expansion. We will then need new industries to take the place of oil and gas. An expanding glass and micro machine industry could be these new industries. Just as the semiconductor industry as operating today provides a method of expanding wealth and prosperity, producing glass and micro machines could provide much of our economic growth in the future.
It would not be surprising if the glass and micro machine industry become the dominant industries of 2020 America.

Burning the Last of the Midnight Oil
Supplies of cheap and easy oil are becoming a thing of the past. We may be burning the last of cheap oil right now, and energy will never be easy or cheap again. It might take fifty years to fully institute a new energy paradigm, but we still have a door of opportunity before us.
Before the lamp of oil burns out let us find a new energy source, and with it let us build a future for our grandchildren that we can
be proud of.
We might think that limited supplies of oil are a bad thing. It might be a good thing this has taken place now, because we now have to collectively make a conscious and concerted effort to find that new form of energy that can light our lamps and fuel our cars.
If we start today, we can find true prosperity and a brighter tomorrow for everyone. PYRX glass is the industry that can make our future brighter.
Page 38
"People Who Live in Glass Houses..."
The glass industry has enormous potential for peaceful development and growth, and can sustain our economy while we enjoy some of the most beautiful and pleasant architecture ever.
In a PYRX house there would be cisterns, and aerators on the roof, as well as filtration systems and circulation systems. In the winter, water would be electrically heated and circulated. In both summer and winter, water would be conveyed from this building by way of stepped channels, like salmon runs, that would further purify the water using ultrasound, small pumps, and rounded man-made stones.
Below the structure at about 30 feet, water could be circulated in artificially made streams imitating natural ones. Air as well as water would be pumped into these streams from below. Glass stones manufactured while desalinating ocean water and containing salt would line these channels further filtering and aerating.
Wastewater would be converted to nutrients in a separate system and used to grow trees and soil. Unless it was raining, water would be pumped from the bottom of this system to the roof to begin the process over.
In times of heavy rain, cisterns below the streets would dispense water to an aquifer that is also man made and imitating
natural ones. Water from these systems would be used to top water trees and irrigate agricultural areas.
By building a contained underground system, there would be water in times of drought and holding areas in times of excess.
Page 39
In the future one might raise food fish in one's cellar and a garden on the second level, all monitored and maintained by computer. Such a house would be in harmony with nature and give off no fumes. A structure built of glass could last for centuries.
