Censorship = No progress

The internet has brought with it a wonderful new thing: Freedom of communication. Never before has scientists, innovators and tinkeres been able to share ideas and concepts as fast as now. But one of the problems with being "on the edge" of science which (let's face it) free energy research is, is that it attracts people of very diverse opinions. Some would even say extreme. This unfortunately can lead to something that instead of promoting progress, hinders it: Censorship.
There are numerous e-mail groups debating theories/ideas/inventions in the free energy area, many of them residing at Yahoo! Groups.
Some of them are moderated (meaning that one, or more, person(s) must approve posts before appearing to the rest of the group members). Some groups apply moderation heavily by rejecting posts that would critisize ideas debated. Due to this censorship, these groups unfortunately are mainly "monologues" of the ideas debated. I.e. no critique is allowed.
Recently, I've been notified that people offering critique to free energy ideas/inventions are not allowed to express their comments on some groups.
This is very unfortunate, because it hinders progress. Of course, critique must be given constructively. The free energy area being by many scientists considered "crank" science, unfortunately often promotes critical comments that are more rabid, and less constructive.
But if a critique is given that invalidates an idea/invention, it must be "aired". And if a "rebuttal" to that comment is given, it must be aired too. New ideas must be aired, new inventions as well. And given review. Critical if called for.
This is how science works. This is how progress works. We all depend on it.
So this is a general call-out to all free energy group moderators to let civil constructive critisizm through.
The free energy research will likely benefit from it.
