I was on Mr. Newman's demonstration of his motor, in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, on 16 february, 2002.
There were two motors, one small conventional, and one big - Newman's motor.
Both of them were connected to the Solar cell panels, one panel for small and one for big motor.
Both Sollar cell panels were the same type and size, thus giving equal amount of power for input to the motors.
Newman's motor was able to run with the same speed even when Solar cell panel was in shade, but conventional motor would either slow down or totaly stop, depending on how big shade on panel was. Newman's motor continued to run even if panel was 100% covered with shade.

Mr Newman's motor was able to run even when solar panel was in shadow, made by somebody standing in front of it. Conventional motor will stop or slow down. Also, the wind could not account to slowing down or accelerating the Newman's motor, it was in permanent and stady state of rotation all the time.
All the important information is on the above web site, but let me repeat it here in short: Newmans' motor blade was rotating at around 30 RPM, and its diameter is around 1,60 meters, weight around 40 KG, and ampermeter connected to it was showing 25-35 ampers, whenever there was change of direction of the current (once per second), it will jump to around 35 ampers, from 25 ampers.
Conventional motor was small, with blade of around 0,5 meters which is slightly less then 2 foots, and ampermeter was showing 2,75 ampers. It was rotating fast, but could be easily stoped with hand, while the big Newman's motor blade
would not stop, it could be slowed down but not stoped.
There were two Solar cell panels outside, one for Newman's motor, and one for small conventional motor. Both of them were the same in size.", "Fact that Newman's motor will continue to run even when solar panels were 95% covered, and conventional motor would stop, proves that Newman's motor drawns energy from other source then from electricity from Solar cell, and Mr. Newman is saying that it is being drawn from magnetic field energy.
