PlasmaKing Coats Synthetic Diamond on Steel

Topic: General

The PlasmaKing device has now coated Synthetic Diamond on steel. I suspect anything can be coated with this new process, but capital must be secured before further testing.

Diamond Like Carbon coatings will allow the ultimate in energy efficiency when used on moving parts, because it is known to have high lubricity. Surface coatings on automobiles, airplanes and for aerospace will be possible in the near future, sooner if funding is secured.

The coating is light blue and the un-coated adjacent area has discolored. The coated area is unaffected by 18KT gold test acid, as would be expected with Synthetic Diamond coatings. The un-coated reverse instantly turns black under the application of acid. The quality of the coating is unknown, and will remain unknown until R&D capital has been secured.

A thin steel pan coated on both sides will absorb and distribute heat better than copper and will also be non stick. It will also look pretty cool, as most DLC coatings are bluish to deep purple - and you can cut your food and hold it down with a steel fork within the pan - without damaging the coating.

Picture will be posted later.
